My Story

Anthony was diagnosed early this year after being hospitalized for fevers of unknown origins. As time passed and surgeries progressed they finally diagnosed him with stage 3 Anaplastic Large Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. This same day he went into surgery to have his port placed. His mom and mommy (6 months pregnant) sat in agony as time ticked slow and his diagnosis and reality came rushing in. He is Superman to his mom. He started chemotherapy on January 14,2019. He was released home after his first 10 day round of chemo but came back to the hospital only a few short days later neutropenic and with high fevers. He is never alone and his mommy stays with him always. Sleeps in the hospital despite being very pregnant and needing to work. He is proving to be stronger than anyone knows, but his journey is far from over. This is one of several rounds of chemo Superman will have to endure. He may not have his Clark Kent curls anymore but he has the strength to fight back. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
