My Story

Karly Billips is a 17 year old young lady from Greensboro, NC. She is a Senior at Northwest Guilford High School and received a diagnosis of Hodgkin Lymphoma this summer. While this was a shocking thing to learn, Karly has fought this battle like a champ. She is known by many to be a "tough cookie", and she has lived up to that name. Her beautiful smile continues to light up a room, and her passion and love of missions connects her to people near and far. She is a confident, independent, full of faith girl and her ability to keep moving forward through the numerous times of adversity she has faced inspires many. She is just finishing up her 3rd round of chemo and her last and final round is having to be postponed a bit because of a blood infection. She is fighting, she is surviving, and will use his challenge to make her a better child psychologist or pediatric nurse in the future.
