My Story

Kelsey Rebecca Kittleson was a wonderful girl who made us so very proud. Before her diagnosis, she was a high honors student, an athlete, a musician playing piano and cello, and a gifted soprano singer. She was funny, goofy, and loved 80’s movies, The Big Bang Theory, and classic bands like Journey and Queen. What impressed us most was her desire, starting at a young age, to find ways to make a difference for others. Kelsey battled brain cancer for almost two years and passed away five days before her 16th birthday. Kelsey's light has inspired our family and our whole community to commit acts of kindness, no matter how small, to honor her beautiful soul and kind heart. We are grateful beyond measure to St. Baldrick's for helping us celebrate her life.
