My Story

At 18 years old and in her senior year at John Glenn High School in Elwood New York, Sarina was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. It was devastating news that came out of nowhere. She had undergone 3 rounds of intense chemotherapy and a Bone Marrow Transplant.  Those treatments put her into remission but in May of 2020, Sarina relapsed and went thru trials and treatments to try to save her.  Sarina lost her battle to Acute Myloid Leukemia on December 8, 2021 at the age of 22.
