My Story

Harris was diagnosed with intermediate pelvic rhabdomyosarcoma when he was two years old. He presented in a great deal of pain. Thankfully, he was diagnosed quickly and responded well to treatment consisting of chemotherapy for 15 months and 33 sedated proton beam radiation treatments. During that time, he suffered from decreased appetite and energy but overall did very well. He has been off treatment since September and has just blossomed into an energetic, funny, mischievous, curious and loving little four year old boy. The reality of his response is credited to medical advances, skilled medical providers, friends, family and our Savior. Therefore please know your support of childhood cancer makes a difference like it did for my son's life. Any step towards helping childhood cancer is the right step! Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
