My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.  Here is a little more about Isaac (Ike): Valentine's Day 2017 started out like any other normal day for 2 year old Mighty Ike. As the day went on Ike had tummy pains and back aches. Mom Stephanie and Dad Dwayne figured it was just a normal stomach virus. The family went out of town to visit family and it was there where Ike was unable to urinate. They took him to the ER in Waco where an ultrasound revealed a mass around his kidneys and bladder. The next day they took him to Methodist Children's Hospital in San Antonio. He was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer with a 20% survival rate.  Ike's parents called for prayers and by the grace of God, when the pathology report came back,  Ike was officially diagnosed with a Germ Cell Tumor (which has an 80% survival rate) outside his bladder.  Glory to God!!  Ike is now in treatment.
