My Story

Thank you for visiting this page!   Jimmy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in September of 2015, at 6 years old.  For the first 9 months, Jimmy underwent very intense chemotherapy.  The side effects are unimaginable, including painful neuropathy.  Jimmy has had many bad days and currently goes to physical therapy weekly, to help with his walking. In July of 2016, Jimmy started the maintenance part of his treatment.  Treatment will continue through 2018 so he still has a long road ahead.  However, it's amazing to see how far he's come!   Jimmy is now a first grader at Ferson Creek Elementary School in St. Charles, IL.  He loves school and looks forward to going each day.  He has made many new friends and is thriving! Reasearch helps make this possible.  We need to fight for Jimmy and all of the other kid's fighting this horrible disease so that no other child has to suffer. Thank you for supporting Jimmy and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
