My Story

Ayven was diagnosed on May 29, 2015 with B-cell Lymphoma. It all started with an enlarged lymph node behind his ear. After many doctor visits, x-rays and finally a biopsy it was confirmed to be cancer. He immediately began treatment and has been in remission since Day 29! For the most part Ayven has done very well through treatment but he did have Veno-occlusive Disease which landed him in ICU for a bit. Thanks to UNC for the study drug he received to reverse it. Now he is currently in maintenance and doing great! God has blessed Ayven so much! Please continue to keep all kids with cancer in your prayers! Make sure to support St. Bald-ricks in finding a cure and better treatment drugs with less side effects! All kids deserve a fighting chance and the best treatment and it's not possible without your help!
