My Story

Hi! My name is Roberto Alexander Felix, but my mom calls me Alex. We moved from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Middlesboro, Kentucky so she could go to vet school. When we found out I had Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, she packed my sister and me into the car and drove to St. Jude's in Memphis so their doctors could take care of me.
After six months of intensive chemotherapy, I was declared officially in remission! I still have to travel to St. Jude's every few months to make sure it doesn't come back, but I am happy to be home and back in school. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
