My Story

One morning a large mass appeared on Ravin's jaw. Just days after his 6th birthday he was diagnosed with stage 3 Burkitt's Lymphoma. Burkitt's Lymphoma is known as one of humanity's fastest growing cancers. Burkitt's tumors can double in size within just 48 hours. Thankfully if quickly diagnosed and treated with intense chemotherapy patients often reach remission. Ravin endured months of week-long IV chemo, pneumonia, severe mucocitis, & other complications. We don't know what the future holds, but Ravin is now in remission, doing well, & even playing 3 sports. Ravin continues to visit his oncologist regularly.
