My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year.  On November 11, 2015, I woke up, got dressed, ate breakfast and went off to kindergarten like it was any other day. Little did I know....On November 12, 2015, two neurosurgeons at Dell Children's Hospital performed a 7-hour surgery to remove a tumor from the fourth ventricle of my brain. Shortly thereafter I was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, which is a grade IV brain cancer. I also have hydrocephalus, which is an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in my brain. Today is March 2, 2016. I recently completed 30 hour-long radiation treatments (Proton Therapy) at MD Anderson, and I am two weeks away from starting four cycles of chemotherapy. You can read about my journey at www.maytheforcebewithryan.com. Thank you!
