My Story

Meet Simone. The happiest, strongest, bravest little person I have had the honor of knowing and loving. Simone was diagnosed with Infant Leukemia MLL-r at 10.5 months old. Despite all she endured throughout her 16 month battle with leukemia, she continually smiled and made others smile too. Simone passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly on September 18, 2015. Her death was not caused by her cancer, she actually died cancer free. She died due to complications/infections caused by outdated chemotherapy that was created for adults and is being used to try and treat babies. We want Simone's life and legacy to live on forever. We will continue to fight for her and other children fighting cancer. Our children deserve better treatment, more funding and a cure. You can follow Simone at www.facebook.com/groups/SuperSimone You may also donate to the fund set up in her memory that will help other families fighting Childhood Cancer and will help fund Childhood Cancer research through St Baldricks and other Childhood Cancer Organizations. http://www.gofundme.com/6pfv9rdm
