My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. In December 2011 our 18 month old little boy was diagnosed with brain cancer. 3 years later he has gone through 14 months of chemotherapy, 1 resection surgery, and 6 weeks of proton radiation therapy. He meets each day and appointment with a smile. He has no idea he is sick. He thinks that every child wakes up in the morning and has to have their port accessed and go to the hospital. This way of life has become our "normal." Please help us in our journey to bring awareness to childhood cancer. -Team Bennett
