My Story

At just 20 months old, Aiden was diagnosed with high risk, stage 3 cancer on June 23, 2014. He suffered from a condition called Neuroblastoma, which presented as a malignant tumor the size of a fist in his abdomen. Aiden endured 8 months of treatment at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, including chemotherapy, extensive surgery, stem cell transplant, and radiation. Sadly, the cancer spread to his brain causing a massive hemorrhage and he passed away on February 23, 2015 at the tender age of 2.
