My Story

Sam Schneider was an active and happy 6 year old last year, when his world changed forever. On June 25th, 2014 Sam was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma, a form of Non-hodgkins Lymphoma. Sam spent the next 3 months on a grueling chemo protocol, and spent his entire summer in the hospital instead of in camp with his friends. Today he is cancer free, in school, back to playing basketball and hanging out with his friends...and rocking his new hairstyle! Sam is doing great and hopefully will only grow to be bigger, healthier and stronger. There are other outcomes that are sometimes more difficult, but we continue to fight this challenging disease head on. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
