Calling all superheros... Ryan Joyce was a great natured, fun-loving and feisty three year old. He loved playing with his parents and sister, zooming cars and trucks around, and kicking a ball in the backyard with his buddies. And he LOVED superheroes! Last summer he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer. He underwent treatment with the support of superheroes everywhere as he battled this disease. Ryan had two major surgeries, several rounds of chemotherapy and even began a new experimental treatment that held great promise not only for Ryan but may in the future pave the way for superheros like him. Ryan could almost always be found in his favorite superhero outfit, pj's or cape and almost always with a smile, grin or gift for someone.  Despite his illness and treatments, Ryan's sweet nature and giving spirit shined strong.  He was an amazing inspiration for all...just like a true superhero!
