My Story

Hi! My name is Avelin. I am a sweet and funny 5 year old. In January of 2015, at the age of 3, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). I've been really brave and I am amazing my family and friends with all of my hard work to get well. In February 2015 I found out that I am in remission! I have 1 more year of treatment ahead to keep me healthy and free from leukemia. I love spending time with my family, playing with friends, going to the park, doing arts and crafts, dancing, swimming, listening to music and watching Disney movies. Thank you so much for supporting me and so many others in our fight against cancer!
