My Story

Christian was first diagnosed with leukemia on Sept. 1st 2006, he was only 2 years old. He went through 3 1/2 years of chemo and was in and out of the hospital. In January 2010 Christian finished all of his cancer treatment! But only a few months later he had started to get sick a lot. On one of routine oncology clinic visits Christians blood work was a little off and he had more bruising on his body than normal, so his Dr. went with her gut and scheduled a bone-marrow aspiration/biopsy for the next day. Unfortunately the results of the bone-marrow test showed that the cancer was back. Christian got heavy chemo and radiation for 3 months and then got a bone-marrow transplant. Christian is now 10! and healthy!Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.

The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect

Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.

Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
