My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Sierra was diagnosed with Stage 4S neuroblastoma at just 3 months old. Her cancer had completely taken one adrenal gland and had spread to an inoperable part of her liver. Her tumor and adrenal gland were removed at just 4 months old. She spent the next year and a half undergoing multiple surgeries and procedures, fighting for her life. Doctors continued to diligently monitor her for years, to ensure her tumor never spread any further than the area in her liver. Fortunately, Sierra was one of the lucky ones and is strong and healthy today! We come to give hope to those children who are currently fighting and to support childhood cancer research, in hopes that maybe someday no parent will have to endure the pain of losing a child to cancer.
