My Story

Rialee Jacoby is a 10 year old little girl who was diagnosed on June 21, 2013 with Ewing's Sarcoma, a bone cancer in her leg. She has been through several surgeries including one to replace the bone in her left knee and tibia with metal. Since being diagnosed she hasn't slowed down once. She never let her cancer bother her and continued to smile throughout her entire treatment. Rialee just completed 9 months of Chemo and is currently NED. While spending most of her time at The Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia (CHOP), she focused on collecting donations for the kids there and worked really hard to provide them all with Christmas gifts as well. She is always putting others before herself, and her family couldn't be more proud of her. While Rialee still has a long road ahead of her with Physical Therapy and other things, she is trying to adjust to slowly getting back to normal as much as she can. We know as she nears every three month scan its going to be scary for all of us, but we have faith cancer picked the wrong girl.....and Rialee will win!! *Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
