My Story

Sean was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma (brain tumor) in August 2008. He was only 3 1/2 years old. For 18 months he went through radiation, chemotherapy, four brain surgeries and finally experimental treatment. In February 2010 we were told there was nothing more they could do for Sean. Sean passed away at home with his family on April 3, 2010, just two days after his 5th birthday which he shares with his twin brother. No family should hear that there are no longer options for their child. We support childhood research in memory of Sean and in honor of all those children fighting cancer and for all those who will be diagnosed in the future. Thank you for supporting St. Baldrick's in honor of Sean and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Thank you for your support, The Witsoe Family
