My Story

Cody was diagnosed with a brain tumor (a pilocytic astrocytoma, to be exact) a few months before he turned 2. He had 2 surgeries, and his doctors successfully resected his tumor. Since then, he has grown into a healthy, strong 9 year-old. He loves basketball and cars. He has annual MRI's to keep an eye on things, but his scans have been stable. He is a warrior, and we are so proud of him! Thank you for supporting Cody and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
