My Story

Owen was born with Neuroblastoma Stage 4S (now classified as Stage MS). While his beginnings were uncertain and frightening, he is now a healthy and adventurous college student who no longer requires oncology follow-up.

We are deeply grateful that Owen’s stage and biology were associated with a favorable prognosis. Although overall outcomes for Neuroblastoma have improved significantly over the past several decades, children with high-risk disease still face challenging odds, with five-year survival rates around 60%.

We continue to support St. Baldrick’s because research is what transforms outcomes. Every advancement in pediatric cancer treatment has been driven by funding, clinical trials, and an unwavering commitment to better therapies. Our hope is straightforward: that every child diagnosed with cancer has the opportunity to grow up with a full and healthy future.
