My Story

Quinton was a giver by nature. He wanted to give far more than he ever wanted to receive. He loved to laugh and have fun, most of all tell jokes. Quinton could talk to you on first sight as if you had known each other for your entire lives, he was an old soul and a true blessing. When Quinton was diagnosed, he never asked why him, never got mad and never held a grudge. He continued to give and love life, even through the worst times. He kept the sparkle in his eye, the one since birth and never lost it. He never lost his spirit...he never gave up. Quinton fought and with such dignity and courage. He faced situations that adults would shutter at the mere thought with a "go get 'em" attitude. Quinton is now CANCER free with complete happiness and freedom. Is this the cancer free I wanted for my son? NO! I wanted to see him grow up, travel the world, have a family but this is not how God intended it for my precious, beautiful baby boy. He is now an Angel, watching and protecting as Quinton would do. I'm left to continue my son's legacy and to fight this monster, Childhood Cancer. No child should suffer the wrath of this monster disease, NO CHILD! We have to make a change, be the difference.
