My Story

Because of early detection and modern science, Eli is is now in remission from Wilms Kidney Cancer. We are so, so lucky and look forward to the day that they say "cured" to us instead of "remission". Research is the key to cures. Although the large, broad cancer organizations do great things, very little of their resources go to Pediatric Cancer Research. For example, The American Cancer Society provides only 1.85% of dollars spent on research, to be spread over all 12 types of childhood cancers. The St. Baldricks Foundation funded 1/3 of research in 2012 alone. They are a SERIOUSLY solid charity. Thank you for supporting Eli. By donating to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
