My Story

Austin is an amazing kid. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on November 29, 2004 and from that time on he has been a pillar of strength. He has taken everything that needed to be done with his treatment in stride. While in and out of school early on, he continued to work hard even on days he did not feel well. His mother and I have found strength in Friends, Family, and more than anything we found strength in how Austin has handled this very serious illness.   Austin is 20 years old attending Tiffin University on a Golf scholarship.   It has been 9 years since Austin finished his last checkup.   We are very proud of Austin and thankful to all who have been a part of his journey over the past 13 years.   Wow where does the time go.   Please come and support Austin's amazing second grade teacher Scott Morton and the entire Jackson Community as they Shave their heads at the North Canton Racquet Club March 12th 2017 and support our efforts towards a cure for childhood Cancer.
