My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. I started geting sick just before my second birthday but nobody knew what was wrong. A diagnosis was finally made after my Nana took me to Children's Hospital Colorado. I was awful sick. With the help of the wonderful doctors and nurses there I started getting better! But then a year and a half into treatment, I relapsed! Then things really got tough and I was really scared. It's been 4 long years and I am finished with treatment! If I don't get sick again then after 5 years I am considered cured! I have some other problems from all of the treatment I have received but I am working hard to fight them. I just want to be a normal kid and be able to do all the normal kid things I can do. I love all of my friends up in Denver who have worked so hard for me to get better and to make me smile. Now that I have finished treatment I am a regular kid! I still have some issues related to my treatment but because I am a super HERO I have decided to shave off my much valued hair! I want to help that someday no other kids will have to be as sick as I was because of the cancer germs. Please support me and help all these poor kids who have to be sick because of all of the cancer germs. Please donate to my team Tristan Kicking Cancer to help me help my friends Thank everybody so much for caring about kids like me. Love Always, Tristan
