My Story

My name is Aiden and I have kidney cancer. Aiden was diagnosed with Stage 3 Nephroblastoma in December of 2012. He underwent surgery to have his kidney, part of his liver, and a lymphnode removed. He then underwent radiation and chemo treatments. In July of 2013 he was considered cancer free. His routine tests in October came back fine however his December routine CT scan showed 3 spots on his right lung and a lymph node that is attached to his trachea. On January 9th he underwent biopsy surgery that indicates a possible relapse. We have to wait for pathology reports to come back to know for sure. Of course we are praying for the best, we are also preparing for the worst. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
