My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Liberty was one of those kids diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in August 2012. We never thought that our child would be given the dreaded diagnosis of "cancer". Liberty kept us strong with her outgoing and positive disposition. Liberty's courage and positive outlook taught us all what life is all about. Liberty taught us to dance even in the toughest of times and through the days of pain and sorrow. Liberty taught us more in her short time here on earth than some people do in a lifetime. She was an inspiration to all of us and touched so many lives with her smile and positive outlook. Liberty put herself before others and was a "mother hen" to other little children. We believe that she now greets little children as they arrive to the kingdom of heaven, just as she used to do at her grandmother's daycare.
