My Story

30 years ago, I was diagnosed with ALL after months of multiple doctor's visits, hospital stays and nights without sleep due to pain. I was treated for 1 year on an exploratory protocol and then relapsed in my spinal fluid. Radiation and an additional 2 years of chemotherapy followed and now, I am over 25 years out from my treatment. Today, I am a physician at the same hospital (Children's Hospital Colorado) where I was treated, caring for kiddos with all types of illness. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
