My Story

William Nicholas Klopper-Stowe of El Dorado, California was reunited with his loved ones in Heaven on May 3, 2012 at the age of nine in Duarte, CA. William was born on June 22, 2002 in Sacramento, CA at Sutter Memorial Hospital. He attended Charles Brown and Indian Creek Elementary Schools. William was a first year Webelos in the Boy Scouts and was recently promoted to an Honorary Eagle Scout. In April of 2010 William was diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT). William never let cancer dictate his life or happiness. To his family and friends he was known as Sir William for his fighting attitude and brave spirit. He wore a smile that would melt anyone's heart and loved those that knew him unconditionally. He had an imaginative and witty personality that always made those around him laugh. He had a passion for airplanes, anything from paper airplanes to WWII airplanes. He was an intelligent and inquisitive little boy that loved playing outdoors.
