My Story

Taylor was diagnosed on August 24, 2010 with Acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Taylor went through several rounds of chemo before the Doctors declared her in remission. She had a bone marrow transplant on February 25, 2010. After 9 good months, Taylor relapsed on October 31, 2011 with AML in her bones. She underwent more chemotherapy but unsuccessfully, as the AML was then found in the bone marrow on February 17, 2012. This lead to more chemo; however, Taylor never reached remission again. Taylor received her wings on September 7, 2012. Talyor was a beautul girl who always smiled no matter what she faced. Her smiles transcended her pain and brought smiles to all whose paths she crossed. Taylor loved to spend time with other kids facing the struggles with cancer as well as her friends and pets. She enjoyed country music and all social media outlets. Some of her favorite things were hearts, peace signs, flowers, all colors especially lime green and hot pink! Taylor will be missed but everytime you see a peace sign think of Taylor, and she will live on in all of our hearts!
