My Story

On August 17, 2011, at the age of 2 1/2, Millie was diagnosed with having a rare form of kidney cancer called Clear Cell Sarcoma of the Kidney, stage III. This type of cancer affects only 20 people in the United States per year. Millie underwent surgery to remove a tumor that weighed over 2 pounds as well as her left kidney. She has completed 6 rounds of radiation and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Millie loves music! Her favorite song is "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". She also loves bunnies, puppies, and kitties. Her favorite television character is Kipper the Dog.
