My Story

David loved everything to do with cars, especially Dodge. For his Make a Wish he asked for car tools and was beside himself with joy unwrapping the 1700 individual pieces that came in his tool chest. David graduated with his class on time, even though he spent many many months in the hospital fighting his APML. He was able to go on and graduate on time from the Automotive program at Mt. Hood and was able to work for a short time at Dick McKenzie Ford where he made many good friends along with learning skills that he kept honed by working on his 1984 Dodge Rampage up to the day he passed. David was a miracle and an inspiration and all who met him were forever touched by his love of life.
