My Story

Jayden is a very bright toddler. She was diagnosed with an ependymoma when she was only 16 months old. She had brain surgery in September of 2010 to remove the tumor and then underwent 30 treatments of radiation. She then underwent two cycles of chemo when damage appeared in her brain in a MRI. She is struggling to regain mobility in her left side with steroids and other medications. She will not finish the remaining two cycles of chemo due to complications. Jayden has handled this all so well. Before the damage showed up you wouldn't know that she was sick. She was always full of spunk even when her blood counts were critically low. She has Jesus in her heart and she knows it will all be ok.
