My Story

Cassara was diagnosed w/A.L.L. on her 7th birthday in June 2010. It was of course very devastating to our family. It was a long 2.5 yrs of chemotherapy. Despite the setbacks she has encountered in her treatment, including losing her hair not once, but twice, she remained a very active and outgoing little girl.  Cassara had to be home schooled for most of her 2nd grade year.  She is currently an 8th grader and is preparing for the high school life,  leaving with principals honor roll!!! She has even gone so far as enrolling in a honors english class and taking a math class of the summer.  We are very proud to say that shes in REMISSION, and is currently FINISHED with treatment!!! She enjoys hanging out with her friends, painting and loves music.  She is also looking forward to traveling to Washington D.C. and New York as part of her 8th grade summer trip!!
