My Story

My son Timothy ^TIMMY^ Lynn was diagnosed on July 14, 2008 at age 14 with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Philadelphia Chromosome Positive. Sadly, he earned his angel wings 9 short months later on April 12, 2009 (Easter Sunday). During his short 9 month battle he developed encephalopathy of the brain (brain damage) from one of his chemos. Even though the lost his ability to walk and needed help to feed and dress himself, he never lost his ability to smile or laugh. Yes our days were filled with chemo treatments, therapy sessions, fevers, nausea, pain, surgeries, needle sticks and tears. But they were also filled with laughter, smiles, hugs and kisses.
