My Story

Ethan L was diagnosed September 1, 2009 of stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma. Before this date he was a very active, loving, handsome baby boy. He had tough times with the chemo treatments, was not able to have his stem cell treatment due to his bone marrow still being diseased. The tumor was removed , within 2 weeks the tumor was back. So after consulting with other hosp. they decided to try one more aggressive chemo treatment. Ethan had a scan and the tumor was still growing, so there was nothing else that could be done. We left the hosp and went home to be on hospice. Ethan L was at home for 2 weeks before he lost his fight on April 9, 2010. He went from my arms to heaven in the early morning hours. He loved winnie the pooh, "cars", loved his younger sissy Sarah (they were 9 1/2 months apart due to Sarah coming 3 months early), his dog betsy and mud puddles!! He loved to smile, his smile will be with us forever, He loved family friends and everyone he met. He is now cancer free and pain free. TO KNOW ETHAN JOSEPH IS TO HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL. I WILL BE SHAVING MY HEAD WITH THE 46 MOMMAS IN JULY 2012 IN MEMORY/HONOR OF MY SON , MY HERO!!!
