My Story

Melani was perfect in every way, the typical little girl who loved to dance, dress up in pretty party dresses and lived life to its fullest. When she was 6 years old she was diagnosed with a very rare malignant brain tumor, less than a dozen reported cases in the world. Surgery was done, radiation given daily. Through everything she kept her spirits up, did everything the doctors said she couldn't do, rode her bike, water-skied, swam and enjoyed every minute of it! After 4 short months, the cancer had spread to her spine and within 1 week she had left this world to go home to Jesus. I remember that day, she asked me if she was going home to live with Jesus & I told her yes. She was an inspiration to all that knew her and still lives on in many peoples memories years later.
