My Story

Zachary Alexander Kirk (Zak) was diagnosed with osteo sarcoma, bone cancer on Decmber 1, 2009 after a whirlwind two and a half weeks of doctors appointments and medical tests. He began an eight month chemotherapy regime on December 18, 2009. After 6 chemo treatments Zak has lost a lot of his zest, but always has a smile for everyone. He has a world map on the dining room wall stuck with numerous pins of all the cities where people are praying for him. Zak loves his Webkins and stuffed animals and of course his puzzles. Zak has named his cancer Fregley after the character from the childrens books Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinny. We have all become Fregley Fighters. Won't you help us take down Fregley with your support for Zak and all the children affected by childhood cancer.
