My Story

The Nanuet Volunteer Fire Department - on our annual trip to Sloan-Kettering Hospital in NYC first met - first met Patrick along with his mom and dad - Erin and Stephen Chance. Patrick was suffering from Neuroblastoma. The Fire Department decided we would adopt Patrick, and he was made an Honorary Nanuet Firefighter. Over the years Patrick visited "His Fire Department" and rode on our fire trucks. We visited Patrick often at Sloan, and also visited him at his home in Albany Georgia.

The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect

Who's Honoring Me

Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.

Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
