My Story

Matthew was our first child. When he was born we learned that he had polycystic kidney disease. We battled this disease for over two years. Then we learned that he had liver cancer. Matthew passed away shortly after we learned of his cancer. He was a very happy child, who brought much joy, happiness and love to those around him. He passed away in March of 1980. We want to cure childhood cancer so that no one has to go through the pain of the death of a child.

The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect

Who's Honoring Me

Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.

Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
