My Story

Angelina is such a strong little girl. She was diagnosed with Down syndrome just a few hours after she was born. A year and a half later, she gets Leukemia. What a way to start life. But even though she has cancer, she never stops playing and smiling and having a wonderful childhood. Her favorite thing to do these days is watch Sesame Street (she loves Elmo!) especially on days she doesn't feel too great. That chemo sure take a toll on her. Everyday is a new day with her treatment, and we can only hope things get better from here!! Her dad and big brother participate in St Baldricks every year and just shaved their heads a week ago in support of Angie. So my whole family has bald heads right now! :-)
