My Story

Lance is our 3 year old energetic son who loves Spongebob cartoons and playing with his sister Hayley. On 8/8/08 after having several fevers some blood work showed that he could have Leukemia. We were rushed to Brenner Childrens Hospital that same day. Within 24 hours of stressful waiting we learned that he has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) . That night the doctors started Chemo. We were told that this treatment could last up to 3 years. He is in the Maintenance Phase now and is doing great. He is such a fighter! We are so proud to be his parents.
