My Story

My son, Jakob, is a beautiful 7 1/2 year old 1st grade boy. He enjoys sports, playing outside, reading, and he loves to eat! He is a very empathetic child who is very loving and compassionate. Like many other kids his age that have battled cancer, he is wise beyond his years. We are grateful that his memories of cancer aren't bad because he was so young upon diagnosis and during treatment. He has been off treatment for 2 years and 2 months and has been in remission since Christmas Eve 2003. We look forward to celebrating many more years cancer free!
