My Story

Mel is a fun loving kid who loves to laugh, and will use her smile and charm to get her out of anything. Mel's life was almost cut short when she suffocated on a tumor in her throat. After 2 operations and 6 months of chemo, Mel is cancer free. The money raised by St.Baldrick's saves children's lives everyday.

The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect

Who's Honoring Me

Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.

Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
