My Story

Hi, my name is Riley Joye Sorenson and I am 15 1/2 years old. In 2006 I was told that I was going to die from a terrible brain tumor and it was the fourth one I had had throughout my life. But thanks to The Fullness of Life Foundation and Envita Medical Center, I am very ALIVE and it is 2009! The treatments that I received at Envita have given me a SECOND CHANCE at my life. In 2008 I was a freshman in high school. I walked down the isle with my sister and we were the Maids of Honor in my Mom & Jim's Wedding. (Oh, by the way, they met at Envita!) I now have 11 brothers and sisters instead of just 2! I went to Chicago for 5 weeks and went to the top of the Sears Tower and drove there in a limousine. In August we moved to Fountain Hills, AZ and I started going to my new high school and I am now a sophomore. I took singing lessons and take choir, love to sing karaoke and sing in front of people. My FAVORITE Christmas present was a phone call from my best friend, Emily who moved to California and who I miss very much. I have HIGH HOPES for 2009 as I continue to get better. I want to do more singing and I'd like to take horseback riding lessons. We are moving into a bigger house and are having a living space designed especially for me and I am very EXCITED about that. I love christian music and pray for just about EVERYBODY every night before bed. I am looking forward to being in my sister's wedding wherever it may be this year and hopefully I can take a trip to CA to see Emily. And of course I am still looking for the man of my dreams. And he still wears tight Wrangler's and drives a big, BLUE truck. Oh, he also LOVES country music and animals. JUST BELEIVE!!!!!!!!!!
