My Story

In December of 2006, Kyle was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor (Medulloblastoma/ PNET) He was 3 years old and underwent surgery, chemo, and a stem cell transplant. He was in remission in July 2007. After several months of being cancer free, he relapsed. The cancer that was contained to one area, is now in his brain, as well as, his spine. In March 2008, we started chemo again, and we are now doing radiation. We could not do radiation previous, because of his age. Kyle is a very happy 5 year old, regardless of what he is going through. His is an inspiration to all of us. We pray that he can once again, beat this disease. (Update 6/08) Kyle's MRI came back with much improvement. There are still some specs on his brain & spine, however, much less than before! (Update 1/09) Kyle's MRI came back with disease progression again. He has several spots on the brain. We are looking into treatment outside of FL.
