My Story

Ricky is an intelligent and athletic young man. He loves sports and is a real competitor in everything he does. His favorite sports are football, baseball and basketball. He loves to play and to watch especially his favorite teams - Redskins, Nationals and Wizards. Ricky has continued to excel in school even through his treatments. He has undergone 3 surgeries, 33 radiation treatments and multiple chemotherapies. His strength, perseverance and positive attitude are the keys to his success in battling this awful cancer. No matter what he has to face, he takes it head on and with the help of his family, friends and faith, he overcomes each hurdle. He is a real hero.
