My Story

Laurren was a precious 11 year old, blue eyed girl who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in her femur on August 21, 2007. She underwent surgery to remove the cancerous tumor on November 19, 2007 and had a prosthetic knee. She was undergoing treatment, but her heart started to weaken half way through . She was a blessing to everyone she met as she loved to go to the hospital for chemo treatments because she loved to meet the other patients and bring treats for all the patients, nurses and doctors during each holiday. She always had a smile on her face as she taught us how to fight a disease by the way she reached out to so many children and adults through her positive attitude.
